Two of the most powerful treatments available for your vehicle's paintwork — here's everything you need to know about what they are, how they work, and why they matter.
Paint correction is the process of removing imperfections from your vehicle's clear coat — the transparent protective layer that sits on top of your paint. Over time, this layer accumulates swirl marks, fine scratches, water spots, oxidation, and other defects that dull the finish and make your car look older than it is.
Using a machine polisher with specially formulated cutting and polishing compounds, a trained detailer carefully levels the clear coat — removing just enough material to eliminate the defects while preserving as much of the coating thickness as possible. The result is a dramatically improved, mirror-like finish.
Swirl marks
Fine circular scratches from improper washing or drying
Light scratches
Surface-level marks that haven't penetrated the base coat
Water spots
Mineral deposits left behind after water evaporates
Oxidation
Chalky, faded paint caused by UV exposure over time
Buffer trails
Holograms left by previous poor machine polishing
Bird drop etching
Chemical burns from acidic bird droppings or tree sap
Light defect removal
A single polishing stage that removes light swirls and minor surface marks. Ideal for well-maintained vehicles that need a refresh.
Up to 50% defect removal
Moderate defect removal
A cutting stage followed by a refining stage. Tackles deeper swirls, water spots, and moderate scratches with significantly improved clarity.
Up to 80% defect removal
Full paint restoration
Heavy cutting, medium polishing, and fine refining. For heavily neglected paint — achieves near-perfect gloss and depth.
Up to 95%+ defect removal
Ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that chemically bonds to your vehicle's paint, forming a semi-permanent protective layer. Unlike wax or sealants that sit on top of the paint and wash away over months, ceramic coating becomes part of the surface — providing long-lasting protection that can last 1–3+ years depending on the grade applied.
The coating creates an extremely hard, hydrophobic (water-repelling) surface. Water beads up and rolls off, taking dirt and contaminants with it. This makes your car significantly easier to clean and keeps it looking cleaner for longer between washes.
| Feature | Ceramic Coating | Traditional Wax |
|---|---|---|
| Durability | 1–3+ years | 1–3 months |
| Hydrophobic effect | Extreme water beading | Moderate |
| UV protection | High | Low–Medium |
| Scratch resistance | Yes (minor) | No |
| Chemical resistance | High | Low |
| Gloss enhancement | Deep, wet-look shine | Moderate shine |
| Maintenance | Easy — dirt slides off | Regular reapplication |
12-month protection
Hydrophobic protection, UV resistance, and enhanced gloss. Perfect for daily drivers wanting a cost-effective protective layer.
2-year protection
Professional-grade coating with superior hydrophobic properties, scratch resistance, and a deep wet-look gloss lasting 2+ years.
3-year protection
Top-tier coating with maximum hardness rating, 3+ year durability, and an unmatched mirror-like finish for the discerning owner.
Important Note
For best results, ceramic coating should always be applied after paint correction. Coating over defects will lock them in permanently. Our team will always assess your paint and recommend the right preparation steps before applying any coating.
